AN OVERLAY MOSAIC CROCHET PATTERN

This pattern fits with all the sections of African Spirit plus the extra free patterns in my Facebook group files, the link is at the bottom of the PDF and this page.
 
Meerkat African Spirit is a 56 stitch repeat +4. The chains below include the anchor stitches, the last stitch and the turning chain.
1 repeat, chain 60.
2 repeats, chain 116.
3 repeats, chain 172.
4 repeats, chain 228.
 
You can use any thickness yarn for this pattern, I used DK acrylic yarn, approximately 80g 218m of the background colour and 50g 136m of the detailed colour.
